Thank you very much, Tony! Yes, I would say around 20 feet or so from that guy and the couple was a little bit further by several feet.

Impressive Joshua! As already said, never seen something like that so thanks a million for sharing.
Hope only this is not a genetic variation due to some nuclear pollution or similar human disaster.
The quality of the images is top notch as usual

Thank you very much, Manuel! I saw similar colors in cormorant's eyes on a remote location, Falkland Islands a few years back. Thankfully, it is just during the breeding season when the colors become more intense.
