Please stop calling a lunar eclipse, a blood moon. All lunar eclipses turn the Moon reddish. The term is made-up and based on events that ended in 2015.

I direct your attention to the non parenthetical part of the title. That said, native speakers of a language can theoretically use whatever terminology they want to describe the things around them and as that new jargon becomes common place one could reasonably argue that it is equally acceptable.
Regardless, thanks to everyone for sharing your photos

Regarding the parenthetical-part of the title...were you concerned readers would not know what a lunar eclipse was unless you added it?
Native Americans use of the term Wolf Moon is completely appropriate. It’s the media and uninformed using an inaccurate and incorrect term, Blood Moon, I take issue with. Besides, common usage or acceptance doesn't guarantee accuracy.
