Traded my 500mm PF for another lens so I took the 600mm F4 FL out this morning to see how much I regret trading the PF.
I think my back and shoulder just popped. If it was the previous 600mm F4 G version, my body would've popped.
Not the best but the kestrels were fun to chase around. I needed every bit of the 600mm and the F4 on this shy little predator and a cloudy day.
Nice shots. It is a warbler and it is yellow but according to Merlin (photo ID birding software from Cornell University) it's a pine warbler, and an adult male at that. Yellow warblers have brick red streaks on their breasts and do not have the dark eye bands.

The bird is a Blue-winged Warbler, note the black mask, blue wings and white wing bars.
Not seeing blue in the wings. Pine warbler has black eye mask and white wing bars as well. I'm sticking with Pine Warbler. Looks more like the example from Cornell as well as Audubon.
