It's not just the technical merits that impress me with these Eric--it's the relationship between adult and cubs that shines through and is so touching (maybe I'm anthropomorphizing a bit too much). In addition to the "awe factor", they make me consider the implications of "life in the balance".

Thanks Kim....I agree that the relationship among the bears is what hits home....if I managed to portray that well in the photos I feel I was successful...thinking in adjectives and having it stir emotion is always one of my goals

Thanks Faizan...yes it was a wonderful trip that was saved by one 4 hours session...amazing how all the other days of sitting doing nothing except freezing one's body parts off are forgotten
