Those are some epic pictures Todd. For the couple of years I've been shooting landscapes, I quickly formed the opinion that long exposure on clouds seem to work best when they are moving somewhat toward or away from you. Side to side on the image would just make a gray mess. Looks like you got great cloud movement. Nice.
On a side note, i don't recall hearing you sing as we were walking to and from the dunes in Death Valley.

Oh - and no need to sing in Death Valley. I figure when out with others - there is no need to sing. Just gotta be able to run faster than (at least) one of the others.
You're lucky that the trail was open past the overlook. In recent years it would be accessible just to the overlook with a full closure due to bear presence past it. Maybe they open it later in the season when the bears are already well fed from the fish spawn in the lake.
