p.28 #2 · Voigtlander 21mm f/3.5 Color Skopar Review
Is there one? It doesn't appear in the Adobe supported lenses list. I've asked this question before as well, no answer up to now! Does anyone at least have suggestions about what they do manually in ACR?

In recent versions of ACR the integrated lens correction profile is automatically applied. (See the text which says exactly that at the bottom of the lens corrections tab.)
If that isn't the case in your program, you have to update to the most recent version.

Lovely images all...
Finally got around to shooting this one a little bit and love what it offers though I think it may be a little soft on one side. Haven't tested to confirm yet.

I haven't used mine much lately either, but not because I've fallen out of love, I just got a new-to-me film camera which has dominated my recreational shooting, and have been only been using the 40/1.2 for gigs.
Going to give it a push this week - too great to sit on the shelf.

Probably a couple of you have asked this before, but given the big difference in price and the small difference in performance, is this cv 21mmm a more than reasonable alternative to the loxia 21mm?
p.28 #14 · Voigtlander 21mm f/3.5 Color Skopar Review
It is for me. The Loxia is a better lens, but it's not all that much better. A little sharper at the edges and a little higher contrast. That's about it. Not only is the CV21 half the price, but it's also half the size and weight too.

just got mine. very pleased with snap and sharpness and size.
considering it being one of my travel set, 21, 135, maybe 35 or 50, and sometimes 70-200
still struggling with manual focus. though I had it set at hyper focal but infinity not in focus. after checking actual focus settings was a bit off trying to set the focus distance. practice practice---
p.28 #20 · Voigtlander 21mm f/3.5 Color Skopar Review
My experience (others may differ) is that if you want infinity in focus, then you should focus at infinity not the hyperfocal distance and stop down as much as necessary to hold the foreground in focus. Based on my experience, if infinity (background) is not in sharp focus, we don't perceive the photo to be acceptably sharp (unless background is intentionally not wanted to be in focus).
I realize that by stopping down you face the issue of potential diffraction. My experience (others may disagree) is that until at least f11 and even as much as f16, diffraction issues are overstated. You can offset diffraction by sharpening routines and/or increasing clarity (structural clarity works great in Capture One) and by othersoftware (the Nik color plug ins work great for increasing local contrast). I'd much rather have some diffraction than for infinity to be perceived softer than the foreground due to using hyperfocal distance.
