These leopard cubs were hiding in a hollowed out tree stump in the Okavanga Delta, Botswana. They were very cautious as they should be. We checked on them a week later and they were still fine. Leopard cubs have a low survival rate. I hope these are still growing. This photo was taken late in the day in rather poor light but I am happy with the result.

Wonderful find and shot Dave! Voted!

We were lucky to see them. They were well hidden. We did not stay long since we did not want to reveal their location to the lions in the area. Thanks for the vote.

Wow!...
This is absolutely adorable. It is hard to believe that you were at 260mm or so.
nicely done.
The image is cropped but we were fairly close. As noted above we did not stay long since we did not want to reveal their location.

Great shot ! Not too many people get to say they saw their reflection in a Leopard cub's eyes.
I am not sure that is me in the reflection but I would like to think so. I was in a land rover. Thanks for your comment.

Amazing, fantastic light, and lovely Leopard.
The light was low but pretty good. No dark shadows to contend with so it came out well.
