Here are a few more shots from my recent trip to Alaska. These came from various places around Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. I tried keep PP as realistic as possible, hopefully achieved the goal. The eagle shot was taken on a dried up part of some river right next to Valdez, which is an amazing little town with lots of friendly people wanting to talk about wildlife (where to go to take a pic of moose or bear). I'll sure be back there as the town is surrounded by a beautiful range of mountains. In August all the snow was melted so they looked rather boring but in a winter they will look spectacular. Yes, I am planning on going back there in the Winter.
Gregg - as always, you killed it. All are fantastic. It's hard to pick, but I think I'm going too have to go with the 1st on as my fave. There is something about that fog and the light that really sets it off.
What a lovely set! Really well-rounded and capturing a sense of the place, I feel like I've actually been there myself after finishing viewing them all... (I wish!)
