What a varied and wonderful set, masterfully done under some challenging conditions! The photos are top-notch and I also enjoyed reading your comments. Sounds like a fantastic trip and your stellar bird portraits say the same.
Are these mostly lowland or mountain birds? Wherever, they are so beautiful and you have captured them in great color and great detail. Thanks for taking the time to post.

I clicked the image to see (ID) the small animal (which i did not know was a bird) on the right side of the wooden tree/post...
It took a moment to notice the mother.

Dan, thanks for the compliments. These were taken at 3 different elevations: at Quito/Antisana (mountain tops), At Tandayappa (cloud forest), and Milpe (tropical rainforest). The variety of birds is amazing.
There's no words worthy of describing this body of work. The Common Potoo and baby should make any person believe that there truly is a great artist out there in the Universe who created such beauty.
