Strange Fellows
Foggy conditions, like those in this photo, are usually very contemplating to me. All you can do is wait and watch until somewhere, something unveils. And most of the time you can’t tell what it might be until very last moment. Here in this photo, beautiful light finds its way through the thick layer of fog, reviling strange almost human-like creatures.
Single handheld shot processed mostly in lightroom.
The light here is amazing, it must have been awesome watching this unfold. Composition & Processing is spot on as usual. Hope it gets blown up nice and big and lands on someone's wall. Well done.
The image grabs me right off, then the frozen figures show their intricate layered forms, they come alive in a subtle way. Love the light, love the hues, just wonderful in so many ways

This is very beautiful. I bet it was hard to get to this place...waling on this much snow in a snow shoes etc.
Thank Greg. Yes, hiking in fresh snow is usually hard, especially with backpack. Few times I had to turn around because snow was simply to deep.

A great pic!
I would have been so tempted to make tracks in the snow after taking this shot.
I'm a shit stirrer and I'd want to make my mark.

Thank you so much everyone. That evening was very special. I have never seen conditions like this before. Fog was ending just a few meters above me and all sorts of light and colors were going through. I started with gold and ended with purple. I have been going to this location for few years now and I have entire collection of fog images.
