In Scotland, between “ The River Garry “ and Loch Oich, near the Village of Invergarry is a lush unnamed forest. On this cold December morning cold temperatures, fog, and a high pressure front created perfect conditions for hoar frost to form. The forest transformed into a mystical sugar coated delight.
Glad you are enjoying Scotland Matt. We have had the good fortune to visit every other year for the past 12 years. Enjoy it while you can. What used to be a lonely remote road through Glencoe is turning into a superhighway with tour buses at every turnoff and increasingly heavy traffic. The Isle of Skye and specifically Portree, is experiencing heavy traffic in the warmer months.
A few years back we had the good fortune to hit some of the Outer Hebrides. Next trip catch the ferry to Lewis and Harris. Sadly the last frontier in Scotland.

Thank you !

Richard, it seems all the beautiful places in the world are starting to be overrun. I use to think it was a good thing, to get people away from the tv / computer. But now, it seems it's turned into a whole different beast.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.

This is the most beautiful photograph that I would like to imitate, for sure.

Thanks Kee!
Easy to imitate, just put yourself near Loch Oich - Forest in December, have a 70-200 or similar lens ready, and enjoy!
The weather and light changes by the minute. I spent a few hours capturing hundreds of compositions.
