This image was taken at midnight in Stokksnes, Iceland of the Vestrahorn. This image will always remind me of the moment standing there before this majestic mountain with my friend as the only other person any where in sight. The emotions ranged from feeling small and humbled but with a large does of exhilaration and just feeling alive.

Really love the color palette and composition with the reflections in the foreground. Is the dramatic light because the sun doesn't really go down?
Thanks so much. The sun does go down for a couple of hours but it never gets dark. It goes to blue hour and then starts getting light again.

Wonderful imaging Bob. I was there a few days ago and conditions were not so good. Too much gray and rain the past two weeks.
We had our share of gray and rain and wind! I found the weather constantly changing when I was there. One minute it was gray and the next there was nice texture in the sky. We also zig zagged the area depending on the weather forecasts.
