How far out to the left did the fabric go? Did you happen to get a similar shot with the whole thing?
Also curious, is the backlight the sun or a light you had?

Thank you joel. The fabric probably did not extend much beyond the imaged field of view in this shot. It is also exaggerated a bit as it's extending toward the camera (wide angle effect). I probably do have several shots incorporating the fabric in its entirety but would have to go through all the shots to be certain. Nor did I process any. The backlight is a strobe positioned outside of the pool, the effect of which was accentuated at post.
lovely, and kudos also to the model. It's not a easy shoot for either the model or photographer. Did you use a underwater strobe. Been thinking of getting a housing for my D800 and a port for my 16-35.
First off, your images are stunning.
While I love this pic I'm wondering how it would look if you could find a larger and deeper body of water, so that you don't see the sides and bottom of the pool. If it just melted into inky blackness. With this image it looks like if she straightened her legs she would be standing on the pool bottom.
