p.1 #1 · Dunluce Castle, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
This beautiful medieval castle lies in a brilliant defensive position close to Portrush in Northern Ireland.
When I went down to the sea level, it started raining. Had to retrieve inside a small cave until the rain became less, but had to hurry to make a use of the small amount of the sunset light.
Converted to Black and White to reveal the beauty of the Dunluce Castle's mystic feeling.

Nice moody shot. Curious about the color version though.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Bob,
Thanks for your comment. The color version was not much interesting to be honest with you. The sunset color disappeared fast and I had to deal with the darkness .. had to have a long exposure. BTW, this image is the result of two images captured with different exposure to get the overall exposure pleasant.
Thanks,

I like the B&W treatment just fine. I think the image gives a wonderful sense of place. It's a well captured moment! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks guidostow for your comment. As I indicated to Bob, the color version didn't appeal to me. I had Black and White version in my mind from the beginning. So it was fine. I just had to deal with the exposure fast. This is the result from two exposure shots.

The bw image is gorgeous, I was just curious. Thanks for explaining. I have had the same thing happen, but usually I did not plan on bw to begin with. I need to keep that in mind since I am so color biased.
I am going to Scotland for the first time in May and can hardly wait.

The conversion does this composition very well! The fact that the rain fell gives the image an even more moody feeling. Well done. I can hear the clash of the swords and the swish of arrows!

Oh.. Scotland. That is one of the countries I would like to venture! I see many beautiful images from the Scotland.
Have a great time there. Btw, I am flying to Korea, my homeland, tomorrow and will be in Korea for two months.
Lots of interesting things are waiting for me there. Will talk about it later in this forum.
