Nice series of an incredibly cute creature.
Love the white on whites.
I especially like you action shots with the body stretched out, and the last comp.
Is the first maybe a tad soft? Others look spot on.
What kind of cold did you have to endure to get these images?

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments. Certainly a quick little guy (or girl).

Great set Matt! They had better be quick with owls and wolves around!

You got that right Morris. Apparently they are quite aggressive as well.

Wow, such neat shots. Looking at the tail, I would say long tail weasel...short tail is the stoat or ermine.
Thanks for the suggestions on species. I was just going by what the guide called them. I'll have to do some more research.

Wonderful pictures. Will you bring one to CR for Shirley and me to photograph? I have seen them on PBS programs but never on FM. Lovely.
I'll put one in my bag for Costa Rica. I'm sure customs won't mind a bit ! Maybe we can get a shot of one with a hummingbird.

I think you are right about the first one being soft. I didn't realize it until I uploaded it.
These are super!
I am amazed by the quality of the photos, as this is such a small animal. Your exposure is spot on and I love the variety of compositions that you managed to catch.
