This is Ruby my zipper nose red Doberman. She's been in front of my camera since the day we got her. She's always a willing subject - for the right price :-)
Shot in my living room with a Nikon D850/24-70 at 62mm 1/100, f7.1, iso64 Lit with a beauty dish and reflector
Just a bit more dof to get her nose in sharp focus...so they tell me!
Nice capture, I can never get my Lab to pose "on set" at any price,
well done!

I'd have to be at f50 to get that long a$$ nose in focus lol Thanks! She's great and will actually pose for me.
I enjoyed this image a lot! She's a regal dog, very intense stare. I'd like to see a little more room for the ears (canvas is easy to extend in PS). Imagine the surprise of walking into a room then seeing this printed big and hanging on the wall.

Thanks.. Yes she knows how to pose, she poses better than most of my clients lol. There is more room at the top, it's an image that I put on Instagram so it's cropped a lot tighter than I would for print.
Thanks..she makes it easy that's for sure. There is a video on my instagram page (@rubydooby_do) showing her posing for a shot :-)

I have a rottie and I know how hard these shots can be. Well done! Beautiful shot and beautiful dog. You nailed focus on their right eye!!
