Those first three are amazing from my eye. Love the muted tones, layers and texture of the first one. The second is a great perspective of that location. The third has so interest going on that your eye dances around the landscape.
The last image was taken from the Hunts Mesa. It's a quite a drive over the Indian land. The road is literally over the dried up rive's bed and giant rocks etc. A good 4x4 is a must! Also, I had to hire one of the Navajos to go with me.... Around an hour hike from this place there is a B-52 plane crash spot with the plane still there (or whatever left of it). Very interesting spot... I had overcast sky so the picture is rather dull. But at a good day, and at sunset/sunrise it looks great. Navajos offer over the night, I think 17 hours (with food included) stay at this spot so one can take sunset and sunrise shots. Or even Milky Way at night....
Also was wondering in Monument Valley can you pull over and just hike up to places? or is it pretty limited? We're planning a camping trip before the summer ends possibly and want to visit Monument Valley along the way, but it seems like there's only the one actual trail (Wildcat) and the Forest Gump area.
