You are magic!!!! 3200 ISO on a 7D2 and no noise!! Im afraid to go over 1000 on mine....
I had to go up to 3200 if I wanted to stop some action. Normally I don't do that, for the same reason as you. If you get the exposure correct or a little to the right and don't crop much or at all, it helps the noise. Also cleaning up the background noise in PP helps. Thanks for commenting.

Great images, Rex! I enjoyed shooting with you and I can certainly vouch that conditions do not get much tougher than what we experienced that day.
Hey Bonnie. That was a lot of fun, especially considering the conditions. Having good company helps. So many times my eye piece was fogged up, I just tried to keep the blur in the middle. I'm sure you got some great stuff. Thank you.

Thanks KD. They've got to be in your area.

Beautiful set Rex with high-quality images! I agree with you that the overcast light actually adds value. To me it adds some power and drama to the regal eagles! I like the whole set, but especially #2. The low angle is intense. It reminds me of a view I had of an eagle flying upriver late last winter. It was just above the water; we surprised each other so I didn't get a picture and it lifted when it saw me. But for that instant...it was magic.

Your welcome, Kim and thanks for commenting. We all have those elusive moments. And, they are magic. You will be thinking and planning how you can make it happen in camera next time. Something to strive for.
