What the hell? I just got this camera on Friday. I shot a model on Saturday morning, this morning, and an equestrian event today. I just got home and all my pics are great, except this set that I have an example of here. Look at this banding! There are about 75 pics or so that are all like this!
Shot with the 70-200 GM 2.8, and I was using a flashpoint trigger with an AD200 camera left.
Help please. No other pics at all out of 2000 have this issue.(except this set)
Nothing. I did not change anything besides maybe shutter speed or something, and maybe flash intensity. I did not mess with silent shutter or E shutter
These look like light boundaries from high-speed sync (which of course still shouldn't be visible). Were you using the multi-stroboscopic mode of the AD200 (ie, faster than x-sync shutter speed).

It might have something to do with the EFCS (Electronic First Curtain Shutter, which is the hybrid mechanical/electronic shutter mode rather than the silent/fully-electronic shutter), so I would try it with the full mechanical shutter as well.

hmmm...Since sensor reset+readout occurs with the shutter curtains closed in full-mechanical mode this shouldn't be a potential readout issue - the banding would have to have occurred in the actual light during the exposure. Unless there is some RF issue, or a problem with the ADC on your body.
I would try some experiments at home to see if this is reproducible. We can devise some more experiments if it is.
Looking at the image more closely the banding lines are spaced too closely together for them to boundaries of HSS strobes - the flash wont strobe that often even at the fastest shutter speed. So my guesses would be an RF issue, or perhaps even sensor blooming.
The times I had banding like that with HSS was because EFCS was on. I disable EFCS anytime I am shooting over 1/1000 specially if I am using flashy and never have that issue after I disable it. Still was hoping for an option to set up a specific speed where EFCS will disable automatically.
I was thinking about this and was just about to say EFSC. Yes we wish it kicked off at 1/1000 and above . On my 4th beer surprised I got that one . Lol
