I know it's not the ideal time of year, but happened to be traveling by so stopped anyway. Saw the sunset from the Canyon Overlook, then lucked out with this scene on the way out. C&C also welcome as I plan to print this. Any touch-up recommendations appreciated.
Excellent, if the hordes don't show up this time of year it just means you get a better chance at unique lighting and setting. Love the tones in the distance mountains, and the shimmer in the stream. On my list to visit for sure.
You have a well composed capture. The pic itself is very clean - if I was printing this the only other thing I would do would be to clone out the top branches of the bush on the right shoreline at bottom. I know it's different processing for internet vs printing but I would make sure more shadows are recovered - otherwise that will print dark.

Thanks for all the comments and feedback, it's much appreciated! I did lift the shadows prior to printing and got the halo taken care of, but plan yo re-work it and print again in the future. There's a few things I want to change. I was on the bridge for this one. There weren't hoards but there were dozens. It was actually a good thing, without them I might have missed it, as I didn't scout locations and might not have looked left as busy as the road was headed out. So special thanks to whoever was out there two Saturday's ago.
