I love how we get to use Fall as the back drop every year for my sons 4 year session. its getting really hard every year to take these pictures and not get emotional seeing how much he changes. i feel all sappy saying that but its true. I used my 2 favorite lenses on these.
group of 58 shots first and 2nd group of the 105 shots.
14. this was the last shot of the day, no light, sun all the way down and wooded area. just an open pond camera right that gave us a nice side light here. had to crank the ISO up to 1600. I hate how at 1600 I can see grain when I see so many people shooting 3200 or 6400 and you dont see grain or as much grain.

Absolutely brilliant composition and play on colors!
A few I would bump up the exposure (like the lake), but minor and that was probably the look / mood you were after.
I *love* how you broke so many rules, yet made them work even better than if you hadn't.

Thanks Greg, I certainly didnt try to break any rules lol. I just take pictures and if they look nice to me and my eyes I like them. I know thats not necessarily the right way to shoot but its the only way I know and how I learned.

Lovely! I like #10 a lot for some reason, even if it breaks some rules.
Thanks! im assuming center comp and cutting off limbs here? I can see it now but at the time i was more in tune with his facial expression and his posture.
