We took some of our younger kiddos to do some photos yesterday under these huge old cottonwood trees with a cool old rope swing, and low and behold, this mama donkey and her baby were there when we got there getting a drink of water. They were super friendly and I would say the photography gods were smiling down on me as I got these unexpected images of my 2 youngest kids interacting with the donkeys. These are REAL photos, NOT composites.

When I go out shooting I get unexpected visitors like yellow jackets and dog poop. This isn't fair, these are amazing!
