I photograph and video a local ballet studio's shows. Keeping shutter speeds up and noise down is a challenge, but I enjoy the challenge. It's not for pay, I'm a volunteering father and it keeps me involved with my 11 year old. Here are some from this Spring's show.
Thanks for the kind words folks. I think this scenario stresses micro four thirds - low, harsh light, fast shutter speeds, high iso - quite a bit. The em1 mark ii's high FPS rate really helps capture the exact moment though. Capturing a dancer leaping isn't hard but getting them with legs precisely parallel or in perfect position really benefits from FPS. Unless I get a daughter into softball, this is my "bat on the ball".
Tough lighting but great shots. You didn't say much about processing -- if you are able to bring down the blown-out highlights many of these will be even better.

Some of these are, “Wow!” irrespective of what system you used.
I don’t shoot dance but I shoot a lot of stages and I find that to ameliorate the dirty/scuffy stage surfaces, a local reduction of Clarity and (maybe) Highlights in LR (Radial Filter or Brush) helps a lot.
