Thanks, Robert! (Regarding southwest flora and fauna, I was referring to the prickly Pyrrhuloxia, although I think the Cholla makes an excellent perch for Catcus Wren and Black-chinned Sparrow also!)

Holy cow, I just had to bookmark your 1x portfolio, Greg! That's some inspirational photography
Mitesh, you're much too kind; inspiration comes from sharing and generosity (like the FM community).

These are excellent images in every way, nice work and you have earned my vote Greg However it would be nice to see something of a comp with more environment for me..........
Lovely work
Karl
Thanks so much for stopping by, Karl; it's always a pleasure and a learning experience to read your comments. I know exactly what you mean about environment but in this case a wider crop didn't have much beyond, sadly, a cigarette butt and a discarded water bottle.

Golden set. Can't stop looking again and again!!
Thanks so much, Shreeni! Nickerson is a terrific place; the terns, plovers, and skimmers manage to co-exist with (and be protected from) the beachgoers and photographers, but are sufficiently habituated so that it's not so hard to get reasonably close.

All are excellent but #1 and #2 are priceless on the cuteness scale... Mike
Thanks so much, Mike; there's something special about babies whether they have feathers, fins, or hair!
Stunning images, Greg. Honestly, I can't pick my favorite; I love them all. Great detail, spot-on exposure, Low angle and these photos are so adorable. Well done, Greg
Thanks so much, Birdie!
