Just wanted to throw the following out there to maybe get your feedback Thao. I do have a very limited opportunity to shoot them here. BUT.....
Boy can these things move super fast even HORIZONTALLY, even when not in a hurry it seems.. I was shocked at how fast it closed the distance and passed over me.....estimating that is was moving at about 70 miles per hour (at least 50)......horizontally now; i.e. seemingly casual and no dive.
It was just passing over me to check me out. It dropped from a structure from a distance of about 100-150 feet and was on me and past me before I caught on to what had happened.
Again....just wanted to see if you might have a comment on that, since you shoot these so much. Thanks.

Thanks for your comment Robert. You're totally correct about the fast speed of this bird. Sometimes I could not find them in the viewfinder when they drop. The location that I have is higher so it's kind of easy to spot them except the dropping. When I see them from far I lock the focus and track them until getting close. Of course it did not work all the time - Getting PF pix is quite a challenge for me too. Glad you like these shots. Thanks Robert.
