The 135 is STILL great...I had it and the batis at the same time .....sold the Batis if that tells you anything...they are very close in sharpness, but the canon had a special pop and was half the price...I shoot for a living and use the 135 a lot.

Yes, I sold it to a regular FMer who has been very happy with it. I usually sell my personal gear here and they are all good copies.
For me personally I prefer shooting with a few primes instead. I do like the size/weight of the Tamron 28-75 and the fact that it takes 67mm filters which allows me to use it with my Seven5 filter system but IMO, the 24-105 is a better choice for landscapes mainly because of the higher IQ across the frame. Thanks Fred. I will get 24-105 whenever I need a zoom. I sold my GM 2.8 and it's not a good reason to buy another inferior 2.8 zoom for the same focal range. In daylight, f4 works fine for me and 24-105m is a very nice range.
Sound good to have Sony 24-105 and Batis 40 in travel bag.
I currently own the Sony 24-105 f4 and pre-ordered the Basis 40 f2. I enjoy the 24-105, but it's just a little large for my liking. I want a simple set up since I travel a lot, but stuck whether or not to replace the 24-105 with a Batis 18mm. Lenses will be on my Sony A7iii, used 70% Photos 30% Video.
Here's my thought process.
Sony 24-105 + Batis 40mm set up
Pros: Covers longer distance, Might not have to switch between lenses too often, Less moving around to frame image
Cons: Heaver set up, Less bokeh, Images not as sharp as having 2 primes
Batis 40mm + Batis 18mm set up
Pros: Lighter weight, Smaller size, Faster lenses (F2, F2.8), More bokeh
Cons: Switching out lenses, No zoom
