Anyone try the Rokinon/Samyang XP/SP 14mm 2.4 on GFX. I bought it in Nikon F for my D850 but I wonder how it would do on a GFX. What adapter would I use? The Steelring? I probably wouldn't want something that wide anyways.
And another one better demonstrating the bokeh. There is an internal baffle that causes the blur discs to be clipped, as you might see. A bit strange since the lens is for 645, but I suppose it would have flared worse without it.

i wasn't expecting it but the CV 21 1.4 VM covers the sensor pretty well. good enough for 5:7, 4:5 and 1:1 and WO good enough for me for 4:3
im never crop sensor.,shooting with third party lenses on full sensor.vintage lenses im see good cover gfx sensor.no black circle.wide open only a bit vigneting. but cant understand one thing-all talikng about any colors diferent from lenses. im take gf lenses, canon ef or 60years old vintage lens-all same colors im see on screen from diferent lenses at same time with same wb settings.. maybe a bit tiny warmer or cooler diference

I think this is a good example of "good enough for me" often being very subjective. Distortion, vignetting, field curvature and sharpness falloff are all unacceptable to me in all but the 1:1 aspect ratios.
This is the 21/1.4 VM wide open and at f/11, with crop lines marked.
i would agree in that example for sure. just i shoot -3EV in b/w at off angles so for my particular scenarios it works well enough since a lot of that is occluded. actually that occurs for a lot of my adapted thresholds so i should probably note that lol
i took the sammy 10 3.5 again and i might go thru with hood removal, cause it holds up pretty well cropped res wise
im gonna order the laowa 85 5.6 2x apo macro in m mount this week and see how it holds up. then i can have a nice compact 40/85 duet set (and use the atoll 17 2.8 as a 1:1 uwa)
the gfx100 b/w cuts in really nicely with the m10m, so im happy with the combo
Anyone heard any rumors about us getting a Leica S to GFX smart adapter? Fotodiox has a dumb adapter available, but that leaves you with no method to change the aperture.

I have heard no such rumors, but would be very interested in such an adapter even if it only allowed manual focus. Some of the Leica S glass is very nice and it would be great to be able to use it on a Fuji GFX.
I visited the Gold Coast Motor Museum (Queensland Australia btw) today with the GFX and nikkor P.C. 28mm f3.5. Access is restricted by a red velvet rope so most of the cars I could only get a front and 3/4 shots but this one was a little more accessible. The old guy who looks after the cars did say I could move the info signs as long as I put them back.
These are jpegs, processed in LR Classic and run through ON1 denoise-AI
First up, the 58 Buick Coupe Limited. Only 1026 of these were made and less than 200 remain apparently. What a car !

Maybe Fringer will take our money eventually. I'm sure it'd be expensive (I doubt there's a huge market for it) but, yeah, being able to use the Super-Elmar 24 and Summicron 100 would be awesome.
