Lovely set Mitesh. I do know a thing or two about jokes when with Ron. His humor is very infectious Hope to get a chance of shooting with you guys or just hangout with. (Ron will testify that I am a bit boring though )

Sounds like you guys had a great time together... color me jealous.
Your gallery of images here are absolutely beautiful, you are a gifted photographer both technically and artistically.
The Burrowing Owl images are all terrific Mitesh, I love them all. You make it difficult to pick favorites, but a few others that I especially enjoyed are #2 Sandhill Crane, #4 Egret Chicks, #11 Marbled Godwit, #17 Wilson's Plover, #20 is gorgeous (I believe it's a Short-billed Dowitcher), 22, and 24.

First, I think you're the weekly winner for nearly breaking my slow internet with all these images--but it was well worth the wait (especially since we've had about four decent days since March). Second, none of you have reported on what bird photogs do after dark. Did you all go into town and boogie on the disco scene?
Third, but most importantly, this is an awesome set showing what incredible beauty and diversity is to be found there. You did a really nice job capturing a variety of behavior in all kinds of conditions. What I think I like best is the mood each of these conveys--all different, but very evocative.
What an amazing place. What a great time you guys must have had!

These images are as good as any image coming off a Canon or Nikon DSLR. If you didn't say that you shot these with the E-M1.2 nobody would have guessed it. The sharpness is definitely there and the bokeh and OOF blur is just beautiful. You have proven that having a good skills set will get you more winners than just having big guns.

Had an absolute blast meeting up and shooting with Geoff and Ron in Florida recently. You couldn't pick two nicer, more easy-going FMers to shoot with than these guys. Oh, and they also happen to be very talented photographers (with Ron's special talent being his ability to generate unlimited BIF opportunities )! I want to thank them for making this such a memorable trip.
Geoff flew in on a red-eye from Vancouver, while Ron and I drove down together and picked Geoff up at Orlando airport. Ron took the last leg of the drive into Orlando while I caught some shuteye, and of course he managed to get us to the wrong airport . Fortunately, my excellent planning had us reach Orlando about an hour ahead of schedule, so we still had time to get to the correct airport to pick up our Yukon buddy .
I'd say the trip was a great success. We visited a number of locations and saw a lot of Florida's signature birds, as well as a gator or two (and a surprise at the end of this set). We introduced Geoff to Chick-fil-a and got him a tan, but we missed out on treating him to the freshly squeezed orange juice. I guess that's for next time. On the other hand, we did come across his mentor and idol at one of the locations, so that must have been inspirational .
So here are some of the birds that I managed to photograph before Ron could get out of the car and scare them away .
