Last winter, we got very little snow here in New Hampshire -- shocking! Probably the driest I can remember. Well, we made up for it this year! And I was determined to get some girls out there for some beautiful pictures. Winter sessions are always tricky. I like to have some sun around, but then you aren't in the falling snow, which I also love. So, we went for overcast and snowy for this one. It's also fun to dress up in the snow -- but not to freeze your model too much (besides their comfort, red noses are no fun to edit!) CC welcome!
Here are a few of Maya in a pretty blue gown that I thought was striking in all that white. The setting is a woodsy path here in town.
I like 3 because there's somewhat of a smile. I get tired of that pouty/ mouth barely open look that so many models think they have to have.
My mama always said "Close your mouth, you're catching flies"

Ha. Well, I have to say that this girl is an actress and in a lot of plays, so I told her to be a little dramatic for these, esp. as she wanted some direction. We wanted fun with a bit of mystery.
