I'm continuing to process photos from my Death Valley trip, and finding that majority of my favorite shots from there were not wide angle at all, but taken at 300-400mm. Go figure - but I'm glad I didn't follow advice to leave the big lens behind.

Too many pictures however, as the landscape forum guidelines state five max. A simple heads up in that the "silent majority" here of most serious established members won't even comment on images when our little rules are broken. Yes, even just one or two more alters the dynamic...

Thanks, I removed extras. I've been seeing posts with more than 5 photos so I though that guideline was gone. Nope, still there it seems.
I like them all. Excellent set to add to the excellent set in part 1. Concerning your comment about cropping a bit off the top of #4, I think it may be better but it is already excellent.
