Spectacular aurora show. The tent adds nice warm contrast. Nice natural look and processing.
Thanks Artur! Appreciate the comment!

Corey, the short battery life of the A7 line-up is one of the main gripes, and of course at those temps it was even worse. Part of it was my fault for not putting a fresh newer battery in - I've got a bunch of old ones from my NEX-7 that I still use, but they don't hold a charge well anymore. I always carry extras and a big advantage of the A7rII is the ability to hook up a USB battery recharger pack normally used for cell phones (very cheap - mine was $20). That is what I use for time-lapses, but didn't have it hooked up that night and was too lazy and cold to get it out....Show more →
Right on, options available at least and no issue tossing in a couple extra batteries when you're out!

wonderful set. I hope to see the lights one day. I think my favs are 1 and 3 but they are all great.
You should send a couple to mountain hardwear. Might get some gear in trade. It is a great series for their tent.

Beautiful! Number 3 is my favourite. The aurora looks like a bird spreading its wings. You did a great job balancing the lighting in the tent and the aurora.
