Found a roll of film last night that was developed but never scanned. Stuck it in the Pakon. Turned out to be one of the only two rolls I've put through the Canonet in the year I've had it. Perhaps too early to sell it.
A bit soft... I'm lousy focusing a rangefinder, especially in the dark.
A quick session I shot in Chicago last month...
Same set, no retouch on these two yet
This one was in Hollywood last week. Good model. Good makeup artist. Good light. I liked this set.

really like these. there's something about film that renders blacks so much better than most 35mm and smaller sensors. Must be something to do w/ reciprocity of the emulsion.
With the prevalence of 3D printing, i sorta want to make my own film scanner with a 35mm DSLR, a block of acrylic, and an array of high CRI LED emitters. I tried scanning with a plustek opticfilm, but it's simply not as developed as editing a RAW, definitely hated the experience dealing 1990s UI for scanning in 2017.

Thank you! I appreciate the comments. Unfortunately I can't recommend a lab; I walk mine over to a local place.
Thanks for responding. Unfortunately I can't walk mine over to the local place. The consolation is that my house sits on 13 acres overlooking a creek with a waterfall.
I looked at more of your work and I like the variety of styles you use. You're definitely not a one trick pony! All of it is fine work.
