Impressive set of images! They are all superb but I particularly like the ibis and the stilts.

Many thanks for your generous words Dave, I was really fortunate the Ibis was so cooperative.

Thanks so much Keith. I'm usually not a reflection guy at all, but #1 was just too good.

Drop-dead gorgeous Kirk, each and every one of them! You've masterfully captured some wonderful moments--an absolute treat to see the stop-action of these beautiful birds. Glad you can still make a little time from time to time to get out and do your thing!
Thanks for posting.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the set Kim, your gracious words are so very much appreciated.
It's interesting how, on a glassy, mirror-like water surface reflected images often appear even more color saturated than the actual thing being photographed. Maybe some scientist/physicist can explain that.
You know you could quit your day job and just hang at the 'Pond' and likely get us all to donate to be able to see what you see
There is something unique and special about each image here Kirkster, I'm not sure whether to just enjoy it myself or comment on each...............
Well............you should be rewarded and appreciated for your presentation so here goes:
#1 Unique. Perhaps the reflections distracts from the subject but at the same time the marvel of the content of the image is truly spectacular!
#2 Such a wonderful reaching-arching posture, gorgeous color and light!
#3 Kudos for the vertical image on this one. That would make a wonderful Ducks Unlimited stamp or postage stamp or book or magazine wildlife cover. Winner Winner
#4 Lovely glamour shot, nice look to the eye, very pleasing.
#5 Great rendition of the coloring, a magnificent comp, pano is king here!
#6 Lovely details, very relaxing.
#7 The greenery and its varied heights works so very well with the posture and coloring on this subject. One silly nit, the greenery touching the body just behind the rear leg, if that one small leaf were cloned out....... Another Winner Winner for me my friend!
#8 How dang cute Perhaps a little less to the left on the comp here?
#9 Ohhhhhh, such a great end of day image, lover warmth, very nice.

I've thought the same thing, the reflection is always darker so maybe that explains it. Thanks for stopping by.

Didn't mean for you to comment on each image, but I sure appreciate the thoughtful critique and kind words buddy.
As my love for bird photography has matured, it's not always about just filling the frame with the bird anymore... I enjoy the bigger picture at times, and tried to capture that in a few of these pics.
Really appreciate the nits because they really do make me rethink what I presented. I also think I was a little heavy with contrast on a few too.
Thanks again for always helping me to seriously think about how to present each image, it is greatly appreciated. Be well my friend.
