I'm really liking this framing/aspect ratio/series you've got going here, please post more!
Thanks! I moved from the city out to the middle of nowhere and my photography struggled badly. I've had to learn to embrace what is around me. I'm finding it to be freeing!
These are two crops of the same image taken with the GFX 50s and GF 120mm lens. This Ruby Throated Hummingbird was at a feeder outside of our kitchen window and after examining the full image in LR, I was more intrigued by the little details I found when I zoomed in on this very little bird.
This guy was at my front door one night recently and was kind enough to sit still while I set up my tripod and made a 15 second exposure at f/8, ISO 400. GFX 50s with GF 63mm.
From a few months ago. This metal sculpture is the work of George Sherwood (https://www.georgesherwood.com/) and it was on display at a local botanical garden set over a pool of water. GFX 50s with GF 63mm lens. ISO 6400, 1/950, f/10.
^^ thanks it was quite a hike. 3 Hours out and 2 back, motivated by heated seats and aleve. I really like that 32-64 lens and wonder if I really need to bring the 23mm on hikes.
Cool lake to be investigated further when I have more time:
