I took a workshop at Death Valley recently and I had the grand opportunity to bump into Ben Horne! He's taller than I imagined .
#1 I really liked the racking light and the crack within crack!
#2 These "Potato chip" tiles were really interesting. I shot this as the sun was setting (not too far from where Ben was). The interesting shadows reminds me of a side profile of some cartoon characters or Alfred Hitchcock side profile :P ..
It was great running into you out there Jason! It's always great to put a face to a name here on FM. I looked up your site that evening, and you've got some killer work, and these are no exception. I'm really digging the light and texture of the first shot. It does a good job giving a sense of how warm it was that day. I totally see the faces in the second shot as well.

Thanks Ben. I haven't met many FM'ers so its always a nice treat to finally meet the photographer behind the images
