That is just my data account for my review samples at our blog. I decided to seperate that from my real (portfolio) account. I'm still Jannik Peters
A few shots this morning. My kids decided to stare me down.
There is a loss of contrast when shooting backlit subjects, but whether that's a detriment or not is up to you. I decided to process that shot in a more retro way as a result.
I have just checked the vignetting. Seems to be something baked into the RAW. However, RawTherapee unveiled that it is higher in reality.(1.3 vs 2.1 EV at f1.8).
The AF performance of the A7ii with the FE 1.8/85 in studio conditions is not good, I prefer the A6500 which I will use in the studio from now on. Aperture opens to estimated f/5.6 when shooting at f/8, don't know the reason. I will make a test for focus shift soon.
This is not what I wanted to hear. Thanks for letting us know. If you can test that would be great.

Can you elaborate a little on the studio focusing? I'm actually doing a business portrait shoot next Saturday, and I was going to put the 85/1.8 through its paces there, but I was curious if it was small errors that you don't notice until later, or just that it would be slower to lock in some cases, or perhaps something different.
