I'm not really a wildlife photographer but when I see a scene like this, yes, I'm going to take a shot...
While in Banff NP, Canada I accidentally walked on these beautiful Lynx family (see the surprise in animals' eyes) and quickly put my Pentax 150-450mm lens and took this shot (well, I took a lot more but I like this one the most). The animals are adorable, and even though predators way too small to attack me in case you wonder if I felt threaten. Plus, I kept the distance so this is a quite zoomed in shot...
Wow! Beautiful images and a fabulous serendipitous finding. I would be over the moon to have come into this scene and if I wasn't a wildlife photog before I would certainly be one immediately thereafter.

Man.....just wandering around and run into some lynx....wildlife photographers wet dream....probably would never happen to a full time wildlife photographer.
Great shots showing the ever curious lynx. Did they stay calm and just stare at you as they often do?
Look at the paws on that kitten Lynx show up once in a while in Oregon but they are so secretive and nocturnal, looking for snowshoe hares at night that this picture is extraordinary.
