I really, really tried my best to cut this down. If you get tired of looking, then bail. But my dance shots are at the end, so you might want to get yourself a fresh cup of coffee.
39. I had just shot a portrait with the fenceline and the trees behind them, and as they were walking toward me, I got this shot, really just a candid shot, on a whim. It was their favorite shot from the wedding, and has grown on me. http://c1.staticflickr.com/1/529/32631318915_b2203da46a_b.jpg
49. A story comes with this shot. The bride had been a very healthy very active young woman when she got hit with a brain aneurysm that left her mostly paralyzed. Her No. 1 goal was to be able to walk down the aisle for her wedding, and she worked hard over years to get there. Her wedding day was exhausting for her. We had just finished getting some downtown portraits in her small town, and they got up on the party bus. As they got on the party bus, I saw that the reflection off the party bus was perfect, the lighting was perfect. She's already on the party bus halfway to her seat, and I have to decide if I want to ask her to come back off of it. I decided to do it, and maybe it's just me, but I love how this shot turned out. http://c1.staticflickr.com/1/371/31788130894_882daf5a28_b.jpg
50. I actually like doing these kinds of things. So when a B& G ask to do this sort of thing, I'm all in. I knew it would be awhile before this shot was ready to be released, so in the week after the wedding, I added a baby monster under a bridge over a river where we were doing a group shot. In my post, I alluded to it and it was a huge hit, but this one they really loved! http://c1.staticflickr.com/1/699/31819408463_b194f3d670_b.jpg
75. And a wrap, with a self-portrait of me and my family. By the way, I always tell my clients that I'm an expert at controlling kids and getting them to behave during the photo sessions. http://c1.staticflickr.com/1/677/32477875682_488f57f3b4_b.jpg
what an onslaught of fantastic images! LOVED seeing most of them for a second (or third, or fourth - yeah, I check your threads a lot) time! Thanks for sharing them all. REALLY solid work man!

Wow, Ron. All are great; these are the images I particularly like --
1. cute, cute baby!
9. double-exposure
all the senior images
silhouettes
48. er, uh, sword play
49. for the three-tissue backstory and the cool reflection
50. love the sic-fi
dance images, especially 51 and 68
74. one of the best images of the Bean that I have seen
75. Is *that* what you look like! I thought you looked like your avatar (controlling OTHER people's kids?)

Thanks, Alan! Appreciate seeing your faves, always like knowing what stands out to others. You're cracking me up! I love my avatar.
my 2 cents on what really pops off the page for me...
25, I remember when you posted this one, still jumps off the page for me, great stuff
26, just lovely
31,32, all the silhouettes are great but these 2 crush it(is that a bird in 31? I'd clone that out, just me)
39, nice shot, but something weird is happening on the left side, cloning or something that is drawing the eye
42, killer!

Thanks so much!!
And man oh man do you have a good eye esp considering that was one little thing among 9 gazillion pictures! I pulled the wrong picture. This is the one I used for their album (square design) and I wanted the fence in the shot so I cloned over closer to them and I didn't care about that on the left because it wouldn't be in the picture. I usually don't leave these pics in a mess like that, but I did with that one and you picked right up on it. Four thumbs up!

A great year Ron and some truly great photos. No way to pick a favorite so I just had to vote for all of them.
Thanks for sharing.
Greg
You had an AMAZING year, Ron!! These were a pleasure to look at. I couldn't even begin to pick a favorite if I tried. Really love your senior work, the little guy in the dandelions, and your dance photos are out of this world. But they are all amazing. I can't wait to see what you do in 2017!
I had to go back and vote - this definitely needs to be a featured thread.
