I really like #1 too. Great light, color and composition in that one. #4 could be cool, the branches coming down from the upper corners seem more distracting rather then framing. The colors of the trees, the clouds in the sky with that pond/lake is really neat, just wish the upper corners where clear.
All nice but #1 is really special. It has everything you wish for; the scenery, the light, the composition, the right shutter speed. If you have to change something it would be to darken the sky behind the tree (graduated ND effect).
I am on the west coast, far away from it, but would you mind sharing the location.

I am one of those photographers who has no issue sharing a location. Unfortunately, I don't really know exactly where that was at. A friend and I take an annual trip and we just drive around looking for days. This was off some little dirt road behind someone's house, actually. I'll see if my phone has some record of location and post if it does...
