Fine shots.
If the Oly can make Bobby that happy, everyone needs one!

Honestly, I will never be happy with any one system ... be it a Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fuji or Olympus. I will have lots of good things to say about each one of them. There is no one system that does it all in a compact package - I sure wish there is. Olympus offers a good balance between size/weight, image quality, and price ... at least for wildlife and bird photography.

Certainly.
I also enjoyed seeing your happy expression in the thread!

These are great and all, but "cold beer?" I don't recall any cold beer when you met up with me last year....
Muh, muh, muh, my dear Sharon(a)
Thanks! It was for your own protection. Couldn't with clear conscience
allow such a lovely lass travelling alone to be under the influence. Bad enough you
spent considerable time with moi.

Yes, he is. Like to see how he's going to wiggle out of this one.....

You have to bring double the amount of beer to make it up, Will!
Sharon, please let us know when you will be there next year and we will try to coordinate roughly the same time to take advantage of the "monkey" .
Just kidding, Will, just kidding....
Next time everyone gets their own growler...with a straw. I'll need an accurate head count 1 week prior.
Y'all won't remember where you are, but you won't care. Meantime: poor 'monkey gets tossed under the bus...
You are not called trenchmonkey for no reason - you sure know how to dig yourself out of a deep trench!

Lovin' that first shot. Such a simple photo, but well timed and composed!!!
Thank you kindly, Dan. I kept backing up...backing up and almost got wet.
200mm on a cropper, that 300mm FOV is brutal for candids. I waited out
a rouge shooter (see empty tripod in center) and when he went to his car
I grabbed these FM buddies: Neil/Bobby/Joshua/Luz.(L to R) Means a lot
that you liked it, was my favorite shot of the day. Yeah, I'm a sap

Yeah, I'm constantly surprised when my best photo of an event turns out to have had nothing to do with the actual event I came to shoot. Funny how that happens.
