My love for the Canadian Rockies is a special. I feel very at home there and most of all, I am happy whenever I visit the Canadian Rockies, even at -35C cold weather, snow or ice!!
Anyway, on this early morning, I felt so engaged to the beautiful scene while I was working on Vermilion Lakes in Banff.
Stars, clouds, icy water, and cold breeze.. all were peacefully waiting for the beautiful sunrise over the Mt. Rundle. And I was part of them.
No wonder you like the Canadian Rockies so much, there is such magical light there, I can see why you felt spell bound there. I am hoping to get up there in 2017 and experience it myself.
Thank you for sharing this and Merry Christmas to you!

I am very sure you would enjoy the Canadian Rockies. When you go there, if you have the base stationed at Lake Louise, it is very convenient going around there. Now I am looking into Colorado next Fall to enjoy the fall color there.
