From an unexpected snowstorm this past weekend. We went out as a group of photographers to chase some light and shoot landscapes but ended up playing around in the snow. CC always welcome!
These are refreshing. I love the natural vignette of the treeline from both sides. Great capture of the mood of the day here. I wish #3 had a little more light in the eyes
My favorite is the last. I like 3 as well, but for the dark eyes, and also I think the DOF is too shallow. (You lose the context of the tree-lined road and the snow appears as a type of abstract element.)
A very nice set. All are well done. My favorite is #3 dark eyes and all. I tend to like a good, straightforward portrait and I was wondering what one of your subjects actually looked like after the first two images.
What an incredible set! Absolutely loved each and every shot. Very hard to pick one or two as favs.
Makes me want to bring 200 f/2 on the top of my Christmas wishlist
It also reminds me of this another great photographer here that goes by the name Black Rock photography, who also uses 200 f/2.0 for people photography.
These are fantastic. Great lighting and composition. I've never been a fan of VSCO/Instagram style color filters and I especially don't like the harshness it adds to the face in the second shot but that is a personal opinion.
Overall well done. I'd be proud to have such a nice set.
