Here's another one of Ansel from our Christmas inspired photoshoots.

That was all bright overhead lights and off-camera flash. Bright and colorful.
We also wanted to do a darker, shadowy photo only lit by Christmas lights. These are cold to the touch LED lights, so he was in no danger. We took a few before he said no more, this was our favorite of the bunch.
These photos have been quite a challenge, because Ansel does not particularly enjoy staying in one place or doing what daddy wants for the camera. So it's been an exercise of setting up as well as I can without the "model" - then snapping as many photos as I can while trying to coaxing him into cooperating. Within 5 minutes (10 if I'm lucky), Ansel decides he's done with the photos and I got what I got
