p.2 #5 · Salton Sea Sunset

This is a very beautiful image. The Salton Sea is one of my favorite places. As you have shown, it has very attractive aspects. However, increased diversions of water are scheduled to start in 2017 and to continue indefinitely thereafter. Unless these plans are changed, evaporation will then convert the location you photographed into a parched dusty flat of salt and agri-chemicals blowing in the wind.
