A friend of me and my wife has a stepdaughter who is an avid dancer. She is also a senior in high school this year and I offered to take some dance portraits in Downtown Detroit for them. I also have been wanting to capture a dancer within the city for some time now. I loved this shoot and plan on doing the same with a male dancer shortly.

Nice set. I like the height she's getting on the second shot where the people in the background are below her. Very cool. The city lights in the 4th are a nice backdrop.
