Congratulations to Lisa_Holloway for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 2 votes - View Previous Winners
I've had some fun sessions with some wonderful clients this fall - slowly beginning to take sessions again as things have calmed down with Sylvie's health issues. Just wanted to share this one now, more to come.
Beautiful images Lisa. As usual, your eye for color and composition is stunning. Your client must really be pleased with these. Do your clients respond well to B&W's? I like them as much as the color images. Thanks for sharing.

Not sure what you're referring to, Greg, regarding the haze or harsh bokeh. On the one hand you commend her for not over-processing the images, and on another, you question if she processed enough ("don't have the usual punch they deserve").
If her images look any different from what she's done in the past, of course they do. Different locations, different ambient light, different subjects, all lead to a different look. Maybe our processing start to take a different direction.
Despite all that, this is clearly signature LJHolloway shots, vibrant and colorful.
I've gotta get me one of those Radio Flyer wagons!
Just saying that some of the images (specifically # 10) could use a contrast adjustment. Looks "flat" or "muddy" to me. Compare it to the next one (# 11) and you will see what I mean.
The b/w bokeh looks harsh, especially for the 200/2 (should look creamy)
The processing remark (if you read my post carefully) refers to the eyes here as compared to her last post.
The shot of the five in the birch forest is a wonderful shot. Love the setting and the naturalness of the poses catching them in varied expressions. Not as perfect as the others which helps me as the viewer to feel at ease.

These are fabulous Lisa, killer location for sure. And you sure captured some outstanding photos of the kids, hard to do for sure. Hope you got more pictures with dad than just the first one!
