I sure like everything about this image, except for that sky in the upper left. You have sweet light and cool coloring in the clouds, but that sky in the other is sure distracting and keeps pulling the eye away. I would crop it out, you are still left with some very nice framing from the arch.

I disagree. If you crop it out it would look like the zillion other photos of Mesa Arch. This image not only shows the beautiful underside of the arch with background and dramatic sky, it also shows that it is truly an arch. If I did anything I would darken that patch of sky a little. But that's just me, I usually darken the corners of all my images.
Brilliant, vieri this is extremely good. I must agree with Mr. G, the top left corner makes the arch, and it defines the arch's shape throughout the rest of the photo even though you can't see it. The lighting on the distant cliffs is fabulous, and thank you for not including the infamous sun burst. VOTED!
Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments, much appreciated Sorry for the delayed response, we are dealing with what seems to be a never-ending earthquake here in the center of Italy, and while our house is safe so far I had to vacate my studio and install myself into a spare bedroom at home. Still we consider ourselves lucky compared to those who lost their houses and jobs, and hope that our luck will keep holding
