The second image was captured from a low angle alright, something like about 2 feet from the ground or so. The leaf was a big palm frond. The frog was actually fairly small while the plant was big. The leaves easily reach 4-5 feet above the ground.

Joshua, I'm sorry I missed these the first go around since I was out of the loop....but so glad you won TOTW so I could visit them....what spectacular photos filled with eye popping color, fantastic composition and creativity....well done and congrats on the thread of the week (TOTW) honor!
