My Tamron 15-30 unfortunately met an untimely demise in Yosemite recently thanks to an unfortunate encounter with some ice. Now that I have an A7RII in the bag I am not sure if I will replace it - a stunning lens all-round however without a doubt it goes against the small and light philosophy of my Sony kit. (I still have my D810, however.)
It was insured so financial loss will be minimal (only the excess/deductible) thankfully. Once I get home to Australia and edit it, I will post the last image I ever took with the lens. It was a shot of the Three Brothers in Yosemite at sunrise.

Thanks! Not sure what you want me to tell you. Exif is 6 secs f13 iso 1600 with the 1dXmkII, f13 to get the starbursts around the full moon. The moon lit up the scene nicely, so no need for higher iso Shot at 19mm with the 15-30.

That's what I was curious about, thanks. The lighting is perfect.
I do have a question for you though. Clearly this is mounted on some sort of support with that clarity and shutter speed, why did you shoot at 1600 ISO? It's not that you can see any noise, it's perfect, but when I shoot at night tripod mounted, I shoot low ISO priority and just hold the shutter open a little longer.

Sorry, I didn't see this until now: Yes, I had it on tripod, of course, but in pretty harsh, cold conditions, so any unnecessary seconds of shutter speed were dismissed. And with the 1DXmkII, ISO 1600 is not something I hesitate using
