As I was eating dinner tonight, I noticed a fly buzzing around the kitchen. I can't remember the last time we had a fly in the house and figured it was a sign. I had actually been perusing the Nikon 1 image thread a few days ago and came across some macro images BigStreetGuns had posted. He clued me in to his setup (Marumi and Raynox closeup filters stacked). I ordered them on Amazon, and by chance, the filters had arrived today, so I quickly mounted them on my Canon G11 which I keep laying around and was able to grab a couple shots while the fly was eyeing my salmon fillet. Perfect timing for this week's assignment.
